For the position of Sub Inspector (SI) of Police, the Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has opened an online application window for qualified candidates. From July 21 to August 3, 2023, applicants may submit their online applications for the stage 2 physical measurement test (PMT) and physical efficiency exam (PET) at http://slprb.ap.gov.in/. Candidates who want to take the PMT and PET must fill out the online form and submit it before the deadline. The PMT and PET will take place in September 2023 at various locations throughout the state.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have cleared the preliminary written test for the post of SI of Police are eligible to apply for the stage 2 PMT and PET. The candidates must also meet the following physical standards as per the notification:

OC/BC	167.6 cm	86.3 cm (with minimum expansion of 5 cm)
SC/ST	162.6 cm	83.8 cm (with minimum expansion of 5 cm)
Women	152.5 cm	N/A

Application Fee

The candidates have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000/- for OC/BC category and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST category through online mode using debit card/credit card/net banking or any other available payment option. The fee payment receipt must be preserved by the candidates for future reference.

How to Apply

The candidates can follow the below steps to apply for the stage 2 PMT and PET online form:

Visit the official website of SLPRB http://slprb.ap.gov.in/.
Click on the link “AP Police SI Stage 2 Online Application Form 2023 for PMT/PET” on the home page.
Read the instructions and guidelines carefully before proceeding.
Enter your personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, and contact information.
Provide your educational qualifications and any relevant work experience.
Upload scanned copies of necessary documents, including educational certificates and photographs, as per the specified format and size.
Verify all the details entered before submitting the application.
Pay the required application fee through the available payment options (online mode).
After successful payment, submit the application form.
Take a printout of the filled application form and fee payment receipt for future reference.

Selection Process

The candidates who have applied for the stage 2 PMT and PET will have to undergo the following tests:

Physical Measurement Test (PMT): The candidates will be measured for their height and chest (only for men) as per the prescribed standards. The candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements will be disqualified.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The candidates who qualify in the PMT will have to participate in various physical events such as running, jumping, throwing, etc. The candidates will be awarded marks based on their performance in each event. The minimum qualifying marks for each event are as follows:

The candidates who qualify in both PMT and PET will be eligible for the final written examination, which will consist of four papers of objective type questions.
