About NTA CMAT

The National Testing Agency Common Management Admission Test is referred to as NTA CMAT. The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers this entrance exam at the national level for admission to various management programmes provided by participating institutions in India.

The CMAT test is given once a year in January and is made up of questions of an objective nature. The exam lasts three hours and consists of 100 questions in total. The test has four sections: Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. It is administered online (computer-based).

The CMAT test qualifies candidates for admission into a variety of management programmes, including MBA, PGDM, and comparable programmes provided by participating universities around India. More than 1,000 member institutions accept the CMAT score, including prestigious business schools as JBIMS, SIMSREE, KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, and Goa Institute of Management.

Candidates must have graduated from any discipline with a minimum of 50% (45% for candidates from the reserved category) in order to be eligible for the CMAT exam. Students in their final year of study may also submit an application.
