The exam comprises four sections, including General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English Language. The second stage is a descriptive paper, which requires candidates to write essays and letters on a given topic. The final stage is the Skill Test/Typing Test, which assesses a candidate’s typing speed and accuracy.
The final merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in all three stages. Successful candidates are then recommended for the available positions in various central government offices and departments.
