Since Monday morning, a number of State Bank of India (SBI) services, including net banking, have been unavailable. Customers have reported having trouble sending money using the YONO app, UPI, or online banking.
Numerous clients complained on Twitter that the disruption had delayed their credit card payments. On the bank’s website, there is a notification stating that “The servers at the bank had an issue. Please try again.”
The SBI servers have been experiencing issues since 9.19 am on April 3 according to Downdetector, a company that analyses outages globally. On Sunday, the website also mentioned a problem with the bank.
In a tweet in response to customer complaints, SBI urged consumers to try again and report any problems that still exist.
Due to the annual closure events, the State Bank of India had to suspend the INB/YONO/UPI services on April 1 for about 3 hours.
